[Waiting patiently outside Solomon's residence was one April, calmly sipping her tea and looking as though she was merely enjoying the sun, not scooping out the place. Of course, the minute Solomon leaves is the minute April starts counting under her breath. Ten minutes later, she's striding through the door and taking the elevator up to the penthouse.]

[Someone had a place to rob! To bad she's forgetting something Solomon had said once. Something about a roommate... Lock pick tools in hand, April's busy at the door. There was just one thing nagging at her, and it wasn't her forgetfulness over the roommate, but rather the lack of security. No wires, no keypad, just a deadbolt and a lock? Pins sliding into place, April slowly turned the doorknob with her left, holding her breath as she listened in at the door.]

[And then she squeezed herself inside.]

To resolve to do the dishes, scrub the floor, stay on top of the laundry. To vow to find someone to take all that Guinness off my hands, and to get my hair dyed. Maybe Red this time? A darker shade of blue? I should get a manicure as well. It's been a while. A regular old girl's day out is what I need.

I should make it a habit.

To remember the things I can't remember. Like that photo I have in my room. Can't remember who the man is or the child, but I'm pretty sure I've never had a kid and the guy ain't my type. Makes you wonder what else was forgotten.

So, this whole making resolutions thing, that means they have to happen, right? I wonder what conclusion I'll be making a month or a year from now, but I can guarantee, not all of these will happen.

[April did a curious thing today. She emptied out her pockets and removed the can of beer she kept in reserve there in cases of emergency. In fact, she laughed as she removed it, her arm accidentally clicking on the network device sitting on her hip as she did so.]

Must've gotten a bit happy last night if I didn't even want to put the beer away.

[Shaking her head, April pushed it back into a fridge mostly filled with beer, a cartoon of eggs and some milk. She wasn't big on cooking. A few minutes later, April shrugged into her coat and frowned at the blinking red light shining from her waist where she usually kept the device.]

Hello... what are you--[OH. Shutting off that feed as fast as she possibly can, thanks!]

((occ: Start of a slow, gradual descent into forgetfulness. /o/))
